nice show guys!! not sure what happened to the volume controls. When the program first started, the volume of the program was soo high that even my speakers were unable to lower it. that did change as the show progressed. Anywho...I don't agree with the hate of Brad Richardson. I honestly don't think he was given a chance since he was injured all of last year. he is quick, fast and has good hands. i think his size is what is effecting everyone's opinion. besides, coach murray is now using him in more situations...ie, centering both the 1st and 2nd line at various times of a game. I hope he can continue to improve. My most improved player thus far is Peter Harrold. he is getting more ice time on both Defense and offense and coach Murray is now using him in all sitiations. I always felt he was underrated. he is one of the few players who goes all out on every shift and when he is on defense, he reminds me at times of Jack, but with less skill of course. My biggest disappointment thus far has to be Purcell. he looks very tenatative at times when he has the puck. plus he is unsure weather he should shoot or pass the puck. this is a make or break year for him and he knows it. I agree Fro needs to be interchanged with Purcell beacuse i do not see him complementing the 2nd line. lastly..JJ looks great this season and if he can stay healthy, the real JMFJ will begin to emerge...Joe the Collector, OUT!
  • Hmmm, sorry about the volume issues, Joe. I haven't heard any problems with it.

Interesting choice with Purcell because, while better, he needs to be doing a lot more on the second line. I'd like to change out Frolov and put Purcell on the third line.
  • No go on that trade, IMO.

the last trade request rumor i heard involving Fro had him going to chicago for Versteeg & Barker. What has put the trade on the backburner is the other King player (D-man) that would be included in the package..I would definetly make that trade. my only concern right now would involve that other player. Versteeg is young, fast and highly skilled while barker has a bomming shot from the ppoint and plays with an edge that is similiar to JJ..Hawks have to clear some cap space beacuse of their RFA contract blunders. I am curious to see if this trade still has any merit or legs

OK guys....nice podcast. But I gotta tell ya Keith, I'm having a hard time thinking about Smyth as "Christ-like!" WTH!!!!! Granted, the guy has done what we were looking for him to do, but Jesus! Yeah, I'm funny I know.... Although I do love your commitment to us making the playoffs. I'm with ya Keith, this is our year. Playoffs are on!

I'm with Connie on Willy...still not sold, but he's gradually growing on me. I'm about 80% there. And I do think Fro is potentially going to be traded for the reasons Keith mentioned. He's not a "Lombardi-type player." If he stays a King it's because he signs at a huge discount just to keep living in the sunshine. I love Fro personally, but as a player he's always going to be an enigma for me. Who we get for him is anyone's guess at this point.

Totally with you on Cammy...don't miss that greedy little &*^ one bit....
  • Meg, if Frolov is traded, who is coming back in return? That's my big question with a potential trade. We have to replace his scoring, theoretically. I'm just not sure who we'd try to get.
