Brian Burke had a funny comment about the ice. He said “try playing your games at noon, you'll see the ice is fine.” I love that Russia lost to the Slovaks. What a great story and a hell of a game. Nice to see Handzus with a goal!

I like Erik Ersberg and think he should be played more. The guy needs to play in game situations. I don't care who you are, there's nothing like the pressure of a game. That said, I would be okay with a guy like Biron as a veteran netminder. He played well for the Flyers last year.

Nice:) I was getting chills listening to the Olympic theme, so big ups to your sound guy! Keith, I never thought I would say this, but you and I are on the same page Team Canada is gonna take the gold, although after watching games last night I would say the Finns are a threat to medal and be spoilers for the USA. Damn you, Teemu Selanne! Russia losing to Slovakia may have been a fluke, the but Ovie lost a lot of my respect blaming the loss on “Bad ice.” Now that's a douche!

I do think you guys are being a little tough on Ersberg. We were awful against the Oilers and I thought he kept us in it. Not that I would turn my nose up at a cheap, play-off tested backup, but I'm not sure we're gonna find it. And I will miss Segs, if for no other reason than up upped the handsome quotient of our team SIGNIFICANTLY….and we need help there with Willy out. Ahhh, poor Willy. Don't think we're gonna see him this season.

Interesting show guys!!..It should be interesting to see which one of our trading predictions will actually become a reality. Either way, it is nice hear that we are still talking hockey during this long Olympic break.
In closing, I just want to give my “See Ya” to Segal. Segal, you failed to come through with your promise in giving me a stick this season. Both times I asked, you told me that you were waiting for your shipment to come in. For that reason alone, I want to say, “See ya and do not let the door hit you on the way out!”
