They do it every year. All of the proceeds go to the Kings Care Foundation.

I would have loved to bid on a few items but we couldn't as media. I bid on a few things last year but didn't win anything.

Yeah, it's an annual event with proceeds going to charity. There's a minimal ticket price for general admission and it's about $2 each for an autograph AND a picture but it's the best event all year to meet every player. We didn't get anything from the auction this year as we were too busy shooting. I also really didn't see anything I couldn't live without, at least for the hundreds and thousands of dollars some of the things cost. Thanks for the comments!

i did forget to say that i did come return home with a momento from the days event…a staff member gave me the sign that was in front of Quicker's autograph station..cool item!!

I agree. The interactive stuff was great. Although, I'm sure Stoll, Quick and Moller grew quite tired of it. I'm sure they were wishing they had a day off!

Watch your faceoff percentage increase after Stoll's little tutorial.

it was a fun experience…enjoyed the whole interactive part of the event..truely enjoyed the opportunity to take a shot on Quicker..missed the first shot high and wide and the second shot he made a kick save on. In addition to Quicker, being able to take a faceoff aganist Stolly was the best. He beat me all three times, but he did say i beat him on the third try, but i beg to differ. What was most rewarding about that whole experience was the time he took to explain to me afterward what i can do in order to improve on my faceoff percentage. Gratnted, i may only play in a “beer” league per say, but every advantage can and will help..Thanks again Stolly!

I did have one event that went in my favor, I was able to dunk Oscar Moller. I hit the target on the first try, but unfortunately, it did not register. Fortunately, I was able to hit the target again on my second try.

As for the amount of autographs i scored, i will leave that one open to debate. All in all, I would have to say the event was an enjoyable one and i hope they continue with this type of format in the future…minus the Kings bucks of course!
