The French had an issue about protocol. At first, the French weren't even supposed to sign but the ego of De Gaulle and his vision of France as a great power wasn't going to allow that. So in the end, they did sign.

  5. “Andrew Raycroft is a terrible goaltender” – Very accurate insight. Just ask most Leaf fans.

  6. Or Avalanche fans or Bruins fans. Of course he shutout the Avs last night but it's only going downhill from here…

nice fist pump!! I am happy to see that the kings are finally looking like a real hockey team. I can only hope that this continues..A big test will come this Thursady when they face the penguins and Crosby & company. By the way, that fan of the game looked very familar..see all of you on thursday…out!!

It's strange, but ever since the Scuderi hit on Chimera, the Kings defensemen seem to have been throwing hip checks much more often than before that hit. Doughty and Greene are certainly throwing their weight around.

I likes what I sees! Especially when I saw Jason LaBooBoo punch the back of the net after letting the second soft goal tonight. I must pause for a hearty chuckle.

And another thing… I REALLLLLY like what Kopi has been doing. He's been all over the ice making plays on both ends. I guess that Summer conditioning really has been paying for him and that line. WooHoo!!!!! It's good to be a King fan again!

One sour note: I really loathe Richardson even more after tonight. He's useless.

  10. Doughty has been laying out the hip checks, hasn't he? That's nice to see. The kid isn't having much of a sophomore slump, is he?

Jason LaBarbera thought the puck was under him so he lays down. Moments later, Smyth puts it in the net. Classic Barbs! To me, he was the first star of the game last night…for the Kings!

  11. I don't really have too much of a problem with Brad Richardson. Sure, he's not much of a scorer. The disappointment for me is Teddy Purcell. He's had a couple of good games but I expected 20 goals from him this season.

I'm also hoping that Brown puts up 25-30. He's been good but I want that scoring touch back!

  12. collector Joe says:

i agree Keith..Purcell has been a disappointment in my eyes. as i stated earlier, he looks tentative at times. he should be doing more. i am glad to see him now on the 4th line. next stop if nothing changes will be manchester or out of LA with Fro..send them both to Atlanta that move will be fine by me. even better, send them both to Edmonton and bring back Sully because he is playing terrible in Edmonton
