As you both pointed out, we expected the worst from both of those teams, but as of rigt now, they are holding strong. only time will tell how much longer they will be able to remain on top. My other team surprise would have to be the Rangers. Gaborik is on fire (undisclosed injury now) and rookie Del Zotto is playing like Doughty did for us last year. The other team i am a little surprised about, but saw it coming is the play of the Ducks. They have three strong lines, but can not seem to put it all together. they have a weak defense with the loss of Prongs & Francios and spotty goaltending.
